Sundhage names 23-player roster for England friendly

US Women’s National Team head coach Pia Sundhage has named the 23-player roster that will travel to the UK play England on April 2 in Brisbane Road at 3 pm ET. The match will be televised live on ESPN2.

This match is part of a 20-day training camp that will help prepare the team for the upcoming World Cup in Germany from June 26-July 17. After this match, the US WNT will travel to Scotland for 4 more days of training and a closed-door scrimmage against Scotland.

This match could be Hope Solo’s first game back from shoulder surgery. She started training with no limitations during the Algarve Cup and is at the end of long rehab process.
