Epic Hollywood nights await you. The wildly famous NYC nightspot SPiN is to town. SPiN Hollywood at Mondrian features DJs, table tennis and owner/promoter Susan Sarandon.
First, some background: last year, a band of nightlife pioneers (one being Susan Sarandon, that legendary actress/ping-pong royal) decided that what Manhattan really needed was 13,000 square feet of DJs, paddles (and cocktails for the over 21 crowd). New Yorkers agreed.
Then Surandon hosted a Pre-Oscar party at the Mondrian hotel where she introduced SPiN NYC to LA. And for the next few months, Mondrian’s ADCB lounge, just to the left of the lobby, will be your new home for ping-pong tables, a DJ booth and sightings of the occasional FOS (Friend of Sarandon).
SPiN Hollywood marks one of SPiN’s first expansions outside of New York, bringing ping pong within steps from the famed Sunset Strip.
The grand-opening bash is tonight. After that, they’ll be open from 11am to midnight (and until 2am Thursday through Saturday) for roaring tournaments, casual matches and tabloid-ready celeb blowouts.
Check it out for a whole new spin on Hollywood nightlife!
