The Capital One Cup, which will reward Division 1 athletics across multiple men’s and women’s sports for their on-field performance, is heating up with the end of the school year approaching meaning that the competition is also in its final stage.

Following a competitive fall and winter season that included eight different championships, there have been changes in the women’s standings. Stanford has a six-point lead on Notre Dame and California with 80 points after its Top 5 finishes is basketball, swimming and diving. California actually won the swimming and diving competition, making it’s way up to a tie for 2nd with Notre Dame.

Texas A&M, who won the women’s basketball championship, is also in the Top 5 with 68 points while Penn State is close behind with 60 points.

On the men’s side, despite winning the basketball championship, UCONN is in 2nd place behind Auburn who placed 6th in the swimming and diving tournament.
